On January 31 I posted photos of the SpaceX renovation work at Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A.
NASA released today the above video of the renovation work that's begun at Cape Canaveral's Pad 41 for commercial crew flights in the Boeing CST-100 atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V.
Both sites hope to be operational with crew flights by 2017, but that depends on Congressional funding for the commercial crew program.
The House of Representatives recently fast-tracked legislation that would cut commercial crew funding significantly over the next three years, extending NASA reliance on Russia indefinitely. That bill has yet to be received by the Senate.
