For only the second time, six ships are docked at the International Space Station, clear evidence the facility is fully operational.
And for the first time, two of the ships are American commercial vessels.
The traffic demand will increase in 2017, when the United States begins commercial crew flights by SpaceX and Boeing. Those flights will increase station crew capacity from six to seven.
