NASA's Juno mission to the planet Jupiter is scheduled to launch on Friday August 5 from Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
Daily updates will be webcast live from the Mission Status Center at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, starting today at 12:00 PM EDT. Click the above icon to watch. I'm told they'll report today and tomorrow from noon until 5:00 PM EDT, and then all day on Friday. When not live, the webcast is streaming pre-recorded documentaries about the mission.
One wild card is Tropical Storm Emily. The latest report has the storm steering away from the Florida coastline, but it's always possible that its peripheral effects might somehow delay the launch.
